Job Description:
Kinder Morgan Treating Div 12 is currently seeking an EHS/PSM Technician for the Milfay/Glenpool/Burbank Gas Plants. The Technician will likely office out of the Stroud or Milfay Plant location near Stroud, Oklahoma. The position is geared towards an individual with at least 3-5 years safety experience in oil and gas production operations. The successful candidate will serve a vital role in ensuring that the plants maintain compliance with all state and federal environmental, Osha and other Regulatory Agency regulations associated with plant operations. This position will work closely with the various plant Supervisors, plant personnel, KM EHS departments, and Engineering Departments,. The position will be heavily involved with Process Safety Management of these PSM facilities.
Responsibilities
o Promote the Company's EHS philosophy and culture.
o Assist in Preparation and submittal of annual emissions and hazardous waste inventories as required.
o Assist in continued implementation of and adherence to the Company's EHS Management Plan.
o Assist operations with Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Pre Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR), closure of assigned action items, Ops Info/Maximo implementation and administration, Operating and Maintenance procedures, and Assist with the overall improvement of PSM program.
o
o Work with plant and field personnel to identify solutions to arising EHS issues and audit findings.
o Assist operations in Risk Management and Incident Investigation processes including facilitating root cause analysis of reported incidents, near misses, injury, or vehicle collision.
o Promote Behavior Based Safety principles.
o Assist in Maintaining safety equipment in proper working order and coordinate required inspections, maintenance, calibration/testing, and replacement as required.
o Assist in the development and enhancement of compliance review policies and procedures.
o Assist with , coordinating, and conducting EHS-related training.
o Participate in Emergency Response planning, preparation and efforts.
o Participate in corporate Technical Work Groups, as appropriate.
o Will carry a company-provided cell phone/pager and respond during working and non-working hours.
o Willing to work around plant/production vessels and piping systems containing H2S and hydrocarbon gases which are flammable and may be explosive under certain circumstances.
o Operate a company vehicle.
o Must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
o Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Experience Required
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
o Minimum 3 years experience in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety for oil and gas production operations, or 10 years experience in oil and gas production operations.
o Working knowledge of OSHA general industry and construction standards. Knowledge of RRC, and EPA regulations is a plus.
o Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary, including experience providing training, and interaction with employees and all levels of management, as well as ability to interact with federal, state and local agencies and officials.
o Experience in oil and gas production and gas processing operations.
o Experience with SPCC and Stormwater plans.
o Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Office applications and database software, specifically including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
o Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
o Must be a self starter with a high drive for results
o Must have good time management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks at same time.
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to company and insurer.
o Physical requirements include, but may not be limited to, walk up and down stairs/ladders, negotiate uneven surfaces, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Education Required:
o A related Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
o A minimum of three years EHS work, or 10 years oil and gas experience may be considered as a degree substitute.
o Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CSHO, OHST are preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
